Donation Funds and Operation of Educational Foundation of American Universities and Its Implications

Abstract

Donation income,an important financial source for American universities,plays a key role in their development.This paper first introduces the income sources of American universities,analyses financing and investment,management and use of the donation funds.Then,operational experience of donation income in American universities is summarized for Chinese universities to develop donation income and funds.
