Abstract

This article is trying to discuss the various fund-raising channels for school-running in American universities: social donation, the issuance of debentures, school funds, government appropriation, tuition fee, admission of more overseas students, application of scientific patterns and technology transfer, school-enterprise cooperation, etc. We can gain a good deal of inspiration for the school fund-raising of higher education in our country by analyzing the large-scale financial sources in American higher education.
