Clinical study on improved puncture method of radial artery

Abstract

Objective:To improve the improved puncture method of radial artery to improve the success rate of a puncture,and reduce patients' pain.Methods:100 cases who needed to detect blood gas analysis of our hospital were randomly divided into two groups,observation group(improved) 50 cases and the control group(conventional) 50 cases.The puncture needle time,puncture results,level of pain and hematoma situation of two groups were recorded and analyzed statistically.Results:There were significant differences in the puncture needle time,puncture results,level of pain of observation group,which compared with control group(P0.01).There was no significant difference in hematoma situation between the two groups(P0.05).Conclusion:The results show that the improved puncture method of radial artery can shorten puncture time,improve the success rate of puncture,and reduce pain.
