Abstract

Objective:To establish detection method for genetically modified components in products derived of soybean and maize using PCR technology. Methods:The presence of processed products were detected by PCR detection of CaMV 35S promoter, and the presence of specific DNA fragments of RoundUp Ready Soybean(RRS)and of Bt176 Maximaizer in products derived of soybean and maize were further determined by PCR detecting respectively. Results:One bean cake sample and one bean curd sample were verified by PCR detection in which a 498bp RRS specific DNA fragment was got.Bt176 Maximaizer specific PCR products were obtained in the corn grain DNA samples used as PCR templates. The research also succeeds in settling 0.1% precision degree of genetically modified organisms which can ensures its stable property. Conclusions:The results showed that PCR analysis for the transgene is feasible and reliable. The PCR analysis of transgenic components can be widely used in various transgenic plants and their products.
