China's Industry Competition:Current State, Factors & Countermeasures

China's competitive ability in industry has increased a lot since 1949 especially 1978. Yet in general there is large distance comparing with developed countries. The reasons mainly lie in system mechanism, the quality of manager and worker, innovation of knowledge and technology, scale of enterprises. So the government and enterprises should supply the mechanism to ensure the formation of managers, concentrate attention on building enterprise groups, add more input to RD, have an insight into the tendency of industrial development.
