Abstract
Aimed at present domestic and overseas deficiencies of design methods about asphalt pavement structure, the authors developed a new optimization design method on whole life asphalt pavement structural thickness based on performance and Lfe cycle cost analysis (LCCA), including newly-built and overlaid asphalt pavement structural designs. Several sides involving design ideas, design criteria, design flows, influence factors and life cycle cost analysis are expounded.
