Abstract
Objective To investigate the effectiveness analysis of α-lipoic acid antioxidant for diabetic with peripheral neuropathy. Methods 90 cases were randomly divided into two groups, each 45 cases, the observation groups were used α-lipoic acid and the control group were treated with methylcobalamin tablets, then VAS pain situation before and after treatment center nerve and peroneal nerve conduction velocity were compared in the two groups within 1 month after treatment. Results After 3 weeks, the pain VAS score reached a low level in the observation groups and they were less than 1 and 2 weeks after treatment(P 0.05),after treatment the median nerve and the common peroneal nerve conduction velocity were faster than before treatment and control groups(P 0.05).Conclusion α-lipoic acid antioxidant for diabetic with peripheral neuropathy can better alleviate pain and improve function in patients with nerve conduction,so it is worthy of promotion.
