Abstract
Objective To observe the protective effect of Lingwukeli on acute liver injury induced by D-Galactosamine HCl in mice.Methods The mice were randomly divided into NS group,D-galactosamine group,Lingwukeli low,middle,high(2.5,5.0,10 g/kg)dosage group and Bifendate group (LB,150 mg/kg).Each group was administered except for the NS group and the D-galactosamine model group that were given the same dosage of NS.Seven days later,D-Galactosamine(800 mg/kg) was given to mice of each group (except the NS group) by intraperitoneal injection to leave them poisoned.12 hours after poisoning,a second administration was performed.24 hours later,the livers of these mice were removed to measure the indexes.Results In the D-galactosamine model group the liver function was obviously abnormal,the levels of alanine aminotransferase and aspartate aminotransferase were increased sharply,and hepatic tissues were degenerative and severely necrotic.The level of alanine aminotransferase and aspartate aminotransferase in the blood serum of mice of the high dosage group was both well below that of the model group and exhibited good dependence on dosage.Moreover,Lingwukeli could also lessen the content of malondialdehyde in the blood serum of injured mice and raise the vigor of superoxide dismutase obviously.Conclusion Lingwukeli can well protect against acute hepatic injury induced by D-galactosamine in mice.
