Study on Clinical Law of Chinese Herbs Compatibility of CHAI Song-yan's Treatment on Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome with Association Rules

Abstract
Obejective Based on data mining of association rules,to analyze prominent TCM doctors CHAI Song-yan's clinical law of chinese herbs compatibility in treating polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS).Methods Select prescriptions of 648 visits from 126 patients with PCOS treated effectively by CHAI Song–yan.The database was built in Excel,and all the results were analyzed with software of visual studio 2005.The core herbs and Chinese medicine group were verified by CHAI's academic thoughts and clinical experience.Results It summarized 10 core herbs and 7 new matched herbs.It is uniform with CHAI's academic thoughts.She holds that the pathogenesis of PCOS is the deficiency of spleen and kidney,and phlegm dampness stagnation.The main rules of clinical treatment are tonifying kidney and strengthening spleen,norishing blood and dredging.Conclusion Application of data mining based on association rules can summarize CHAI Song-yan's application experience and academic thoughts in treating PCOS.It has some clinical guiding significance.
