The Unity of "Human-oriented" Ideas and "Unity of Heaven and Man"——A Brief Analysis of the Intensions of Confucian Ecological Ethics

Thehuman-orientedideas and notions of theunity of heaven and manare two great tra- ditions of Confucian ethics.In dealing with the relationship between heaven(nature)and man,Confucianism put equal emphasis on the two theories.For them,the two schools of ideas don't contradict each other at all,but form a unity,which is based on the high attention laid on man's moral cultivation and behavior.
