Abstract

Objective:To evaluate the impact of rehabilitation therapy on the neurological function and clinical activities of daily living(ADL) of stroke patients with hemiplegia. Methods:Sixty stroke patients with hemiplegia were randomly divided into rehabilitation group(30 cases) and control group(30 cases) clinical control study. Both groups received conventional neurological medical treatment.Besides that, neurological rehabilitation via exercise therapy were adopted in rehabilitation group. The clinical neurological deficit scores,Bathel Index(MBI) of each patient were evaluated on admission and discharged. Results:There were no significant difference between rehabilitation group and control group on admission(P0.05),while those were significantly different when discharged between two groups(P0.01).Conclusion:The clinical efficacy of rehabilitation combined with medicine therapy is better than medicine therapy only for the stroke patients with hemiplegia.
