General Education and Innovative Talents Training at Universities

Abstract

The innovative talents are necessary for the universities to face the challenges cropping up in the knowledge-oriented economy.They are also very important in the build-up of innovative country.How to erect an effective mechanism which trains innovative talents has become a common concern for the universities.On the basis of having analyzed the connotations and features of general education,this essay suggests that enhancing the general education is the efficient way to train innovative talents for universities.We are expected to actively develop the general education which facilitates the training of innovative talents.
