A Summary of the Literary Works by Xuzhou Native Authors in Tang Dynasty

In Tang Dynasty,Xuzhou was a great place for attracting people of talent,nurturing cultural flourishing and giving birth to talented people from generation to generation.This place produced scores of authors in literary classics and history,and there were more than 26 authors whose works were either passed down until nowadays or were recorded in history books.Among the prominent authors,we can find historian Liu Zhiji,poet and artist Liu Shang,and Li Yu whose achievement in poetry was considered the highest in the Five Dynasties.All these talented authors fall into two distinct family groups,namely Liu family author group and Li family author group.In a word,the native authors of Xuzhou in Tang Dynasty had made their glorious contribution with their wisdom and diligence to the splendid Tang culture.
