Abstract
The principle of presumption of innocence,with profound foundation in social philosophy and important significance in politics and law,has been one of the principles of Criminal Procedure Law and even Constitution.Improving and developing the principle of presumption of innocence is the urgent need of modernization of the Legal System of Criminal Procedure in contemporary China and issues of times.The new amendment of criminal procedure law is drawing near.It must be the most important part of the amendment to further implement the principle of presumption of innocence.Beginning with the contents and requirements of the principle of presumption of innocence,and combined with its legal practice,some legislative suggestions are put forward on the issue in the paper.
