Surface reconstruction in reverse engineering

The reverse engineering is bringing the important effect in the research and development process of the machine,automobile and aviation products. As the key technology of reverse engineering,the surface reconstruction technology can make the digitization model by the numerical information of the object,so the advantage of digitization can be entirely utilized. Several typical reconstruction methods are presented briefly,and their fundamental thought and the main characteristic are introduced,too. In the end,emphases of future researches are proposed.
