Abstract

It is found that when A-flocculant containing polyacrylamide and H3-flocculant containing hydroxamic acid are used together at the proper rate, then the settling rate of red mud is increased and the suspended solid decrease. It is shown that, the level of addition of mixed flocculants is lower than single flocculants.
