Abstract
Objective To evaluate clinical effect of bipolar plasmakinetic transurethral enucleation in the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia(BPH).Methods Ninety patients with BPH undergoing bipolar plasmakinetic transurethral enucleation were enrolled in this study.ACMI bipolar plasmakinetic wire loop and sheath were used to find out the latent division between gland lining and the surgical envelope of the prostate.According to the division the whole central part of the prostate was removed from surgical envelope and chipped. The safety and effect of the treatment were analyzed. Results Eighty-eight patients were performed transurethral enucleation of prostate successfully, and 2 patients received conventional enucleation. The border of hyperplastic gland and the surgical envelope were clear in most patients, and the gland had less blood supply, which facilitated thorough resection.During the follow-up of 6~18 months, the patients'syndrome were greatly relieved, with no severe complications. Conclusion Bipolar plasmakinetic transurethral enucleation is effective, safe, thorough for treating benign prostatic hyperplasia, unlikely to injury surgical envelope.
