Abstract
Objective To evaluate the operative method and efficacy of transurethral plasmakinetic enucleation of the prostate(PKEP) in the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia(BPH).Methods All of 300 cases of BPH were treated by transurethral enucleation prostate using Gyrus plasmakinetic dissection system and resectoscope.The indices such as IPSS,QOL,Qmax and residual urine volume before and after the operation were monitored and analyzed.Result All of 300 patients underwent the operation successfully.No complication like TURS and bladder rupture occurred.All patients discharged successfully,and passed their water comfortably with perfect control.Conclusion The PKEP has advantages of high safety,less complication and satisfactory efficacy in the treatment of BPH.
