Effect analysis of acupuncture and manipulation combined with drug therapy in community knee osteoarthritis

Objective To analyze the effect of acupuncture and manipulation combined with drug therapy in community knee osteoarthritis.Methods 146 cases patients with knee osteoarthritis were randomly divided into observation group and control group,each of 73 cases.Control group were given drug treatment only,and observation group,on basis of control group,were treated with acupuncture and manipulation.Clinical efficacy,knee flexion mobility and Lysholm knee score between the two groups were compared.Results The total effective rate of observation group(91.8%)was higher than that of control group(79.5%),the difference was statistically significant(P0.05);knee flexion mobility and Lysholm knee score of two groups were both increased,and observation group were higher than those of control group,the difference was statistically significan(P0.05).Conclusion The effect of acupuncture and manipulation combined with drug therapy in community knee osteoarthritis is definite,it can promote the recovery of knee function,improve the life quality of patient.
