A Status Quo Survey and Analysis of the Teaching of Gymnastics in Colleges and Universities in Chongqing

By a combination of methods like literature review,questionaires,mathematical statistics and interviews,a staus quo survey of the gymnastics teaching was made about the teachers,sports grounds and facilities,teaching content,students' perception of the gymnastics course and their attitudes and evaluation of the course in Chongqing.In response to the problems found in our findings,counter measures concerning college teachers,the management thought of the educational administration,the guiding principle of the school and the teaching content,are suggested,which can serve as reference for the improvement of the teaching quality in colleges and universities of Chongqing.
