Abstract

Folk customs in East Qin depicted in Historical Records,such as individuals,characters of a big family,customs in sacrifice,taboos,divination and prophecy,concept of a son's heritage from his father,etc.,are studied in the paper.Hence the aesthetic value of folk customs in East Qin is discussed from its varieties,connotations and educational functions.
