On the Personality Differences between Confucius and Mencius

Confucius, Mencius are all representative figures of the Confucianists. Mencius “Wishes to learn form confucius” and the descendent s often call them Kong Meng.However,studying Analects of Confucius and Mencius,w e find them quite different.Confucius put political thought before everything in his value of life,but Mencius had more persuits;Confucius could never forget po litics,but Mencius loved Personality of Men;Confucius was very cautious,but Menc ius was quite open;Confucius felt contradictory due to the disharmony of ideal a nd reality;but Mencius stuck to the spirit of personality.
