Abstract

The legislative right of local authoritative bodies and the local government is specified in China's constitution, laws and administrative regulations. Local legislation has a significant role to play in regional economic development. Local legislative bodies should make full use of their legislative function and play an even more active part in promoting the perfection of the socialist legal system, enhancing the strategy of rule by law and developing regional economy.[
