Empirical Analysis on Contribution Rate of Agricultural Mechanization to Agricultural Economy

Agricultural mechanization is the essential way to agricultural modernization,and plays an important role in agricultural economic growth and farmers income growth.This paper analyses contribution rate between agricultural mechanization and agricultural economy by statistical data over the periods 1978~2009,and come to the conclusion by Cobb-Douglas production function empirical analysis,the contribution rate of agricultural mechanization for agricultural economy is 17.19%,agricultural mechanization is the key factor in the development of agricultural economy.
