Abstract

The influences of different treatment conditions on Pinus massoniana seed vigor level were studied by hygroscopy-dehydration seed treatment technology.The results showed that 1~2 hygroscopy-dehydration cycle treatment under 10℃ condition could increase high(budding rate was 83%)-and mid(budding rate was 66%)-vigorous Pinus massoniana seed vigor level,the effect on the midvigorous level of Pinus massoniana seed treatment was specially evident,the budding rate increased to 83% from 66%;the budding index also increased in a degree,the average budding time was shortened by 2~3 days,but the mid-vigorous level of seed budding energy didn't change evidently.The study results showed that 3 cycles of wet and dry treatment or hygroscopy-dehydration treatment under relatively high temperature produced a certain harm to seed.
