Abstract
The antifeedant activities of extracts of Brucea javanica(L.) Merr against Spodoptera litura Fabricius larvae were tested. The results showed that the extracts had preferable antifeedant activities against the 3th instar and 5th instar larvae when the concentration reached 0.5 mg/mL.The non-selective AFC50 for the 3th instar and 5th instar larvae were 0.037 4mg/mL and 0.037 0 mg/ml after treated for 24 hours. The selective AFC50 were 0.032 0 mg/mL and 0.023 0 mg/mL,respectively.
