Abstract
Micafungin is a new echinocandin antifungal against Aspergillus and Candida spp.It is a noncompetitive inhibitor of 1,3β-D-glucan synthase within fungal cells wall.This paper introduces the mechanism,pharmacodynamics,pharmacokinetics,drug-drug interaction and clinical therapeutics of micafungin.
