Early rehabilitation on bladder and bowel function of patients with spinal cord injury

Objective To observe the effect of early rehabilitation on bladder and bowel function of patients with spinal cord injury.Methods 100 patients were divided into two groups,each 50 cases.The conventional group received conventional drugs and conventional help defecation measures.The rehabilitation group received early rehabilitation treatment on the basis of conventional group.After two months of treatment,bladder capacity,residual urine volume,laboratory examination results on stipation,abdominal distension,independent defecation,defecation times of two groups were compared with each other.Results Between two groups,there were significant differences in bladder capacity,residual urine volume,24 h urinary sediment white blood cell count≥10 cases(P 0.05).At the same time,there were significant differences in number of constipation,abdominal distension,independent defecation,defecation frequency(P 0.01).Conclusion Early rehabilitation has certain curative effect on bladder and bowel function recovery of patients with spinal cord injury.
