Abstract

In view of the problem of compensating network-induced delay in networked control systems,a fuzzy self-adaptive PID control technique was proposed.Delay is estimated through the use of online delay-evaluation,according to delay regulation of online PID three parameters, thereby improving system performance. As an example to verify the proposed method,a fuzzy PID controller of typical hybrid industrial plant linking by controller area network(CAN) was considered. The simulation results showed that with conventional PID controller, using the fuzzy-PID controller can compensate on the network delay, the more effective suppression of the delay on the network control system and to enhance the impact of the system's performance.
