Abstract
The laurie acid imidazoline was prepared by twe-step method. It was investigated the preparation process to synthesize the intermedi- ate of laurie acid imidazoline firstly. The optimized process conditions were educed by weighting the water produced from the reaction and by using in- frared absorption spectroscopy. Then the imidazoline boric acid ester was synthesized when the intermediate reacts with boric acid. The same way was used to study the effect of every fators on the boric acid ester. The high yield and efficience optimized process conditions of boric acid ester preparation were:toluene using as solvent, the reagents adding step by step, and the molar ratio of the intermediate to boric acid was more than 1,and reaction time was 4h under 160℃.
