Abstract
With tartaric acid and benzyl alcohol as raw material for synthesis of dibezyl L-tartrate. The specific rotator power is determined with toluene as solvent and boric acid as a catalyst. The structure of the product is confirmed by IR. The optimized conditions are as follows : the dosage of boric acid is 0. 75 g,the reaction time is 4h,the amount of carbon tetrachloride is 40 ml,the molar ratio of acid to alcohol is 1 2. 8,specific rotation is + 5. 325,83. 57% of the receiving rate reached and boric acid can be reused many times.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
