Abstract
Objective To know the risk factors of urinary tract infection with indwelling urinary catheter, detection of pathogen and status of drug-resistant.Methods Retrospective investigation and multiple analysis were used to survey 269 inpatients with urinary tract nosocomial infection in 2009.Results The 269 inpatients were all elderly patients, and patients who were over 76 years of age accounted for 28.62%.Most patients had basic diseases,in which cerebral hemorrhage was 34.20%.Nosocomial infection rate with urinary tract was 81.15% in the patients with indwelling urinary catheter. The top three pathogenic bacteria detected were Escherichia coli,Entercoccus faecium and Fungi. Conclusion The main risk factors were elderly age, severe basic diseases and indwelling urinary catheter.Measurements taken to prevent and control urinary tract nosocomial infection should target to those aspects.
