Abstract
Objective To improve the level of diagnosis and treatment to the traumatic shock. Methods 230 cases of patients with severe traumatic shock treated in our department between Jan.1999 and Dec.2004 were analyzed retrospectively, and their age, injury severity scale, time to hospital after injury, operation, blood pressure and fluid resuscitation volume etc were analyzed by binary logistic regression to show the relationship between the factors and the outcome. Results The rescue success rate was 71.3%(164 cases),and traumatic mortality was 28.7%(66 cases). Conclusion Severe trauma and shock, hypotension and incorrect resuscitation manipulation are the main factors affecting the result of resuscitation and treatment of traumatic shock, early definite rescue surgery can effectively improve the result of severe trauma therapy.
