Abstract
Objective To compare curative effect of intravenous amiodarone and lanatoside C (cedilanid ) for the treatment of rapid ventricular rate in the patients with atrial fibrillation. Methods A single-blind, randomized study of 52 patients with rapid atrial fibrillation was conducted by comparing intravenous amiodarone and lanatoside C. Results The total effective rate was 84.6% and 57.7% in amiodarone group and lanatoside C, respectively. Heart rate decreased by 36.5% and 25.8% (P0.05). The mean response time was(22.8±7.6)minutes and(51.2±9.8)minutes (P0.01). Conclusion Amiodarone is more effective for the treatment of rapid ventricular rate in the patients with atrial fibrillation.
