Class Liberation and Individual Awakening——A Preliminary Study on Two Kinds of Views on Woman Liberation during May Fourth Movement

With the continuous development of the new cultural movement,the “class liberation” presented by Chen Du xiu and Li Da zhao and the “Individual Awakening” advocated Hu Shi and Zhou Zuo ren came out in the theory on woman liberation,in which the former emphersized the overall woman liberation,and the later focussed on the individual awakening.Both of them were creative on the research of woman theory,but potentially had some of the partial and limit.The theoretical pattern constructed by them exerted an influence even onto nowadays and need to be further studied.
