Abstract
Objective To investigate the iodine content of drinking water in Suiyang District,and to provide the basis for the scientific guidance of iodine supplementation.Methods All villages were closed by locations of east,west,south,north and center.Two water samples were collected in each location.One water sample was collected in peripheral water of centralized water supply acquisition.The iodine content of drinking water was tested by arsenic-ceruim contact method.Results 2678 water samples were tested,and the average of iodine content of was 161.1μg/L,the median was 131.6μg/L,range 7.7~752.0μg/L.Conclusion Suiyang District was the area of appropriate iodine and high iodine coexist.
