Abstract
Objective To analyze the prevalence and characteristics of the teeth attrition in Neolithic population.Methods A total of 1861 teeth from Neolithic times were made available to this study. The attrition condition of the teeth was evaluated and statistically analyzed.Results The average attrition gradation of the teeth in Neolithic population was 3.88. The attrition degree of the first molar was greater than that of the second!molar and the third molar was least attribted. Conclusion Tooth wear or attrition was more prevalent in Neolithic times than today.
