Abstract
Fenton reagent was used to treat reactive brilliant red KD-8B solution. The initial pH,hydrogen peroxide and ferrous sulfate dosage and reaction time on the absorbance and COD removal rate of simulated wastewater were investigated, the reaction conditions were optimized. The results showed that the optimal reaction condition was: room temperature,pH=2.5,=3.0 mmol/L,=39.2 mmol/L,40 min for the reaction, the removal rates of absorbance and COD of the simulating dye wastewater were 96.6% and 86.7%,respectively.Fenton method combined with anaerobic biodegradation was also used for treating the simulated dye wastewater. The results showed that the removal rates of absorbance and COD of the wastewater were all completely improved, more than 98%,the removal rate of COD were respectively higher 34.6% and 13.1% than that of treated only by anaerobic microbiodegradation or fenton reagent.
