Abstract

The simulative azo dyes wastewater was treated by Fenton reagent technique. The effect of pH value, the dosage of H2O2 and Fe2+,reaction temperature and time on the removal efficiency of COD of dyes wastewater were discussed. The results showed that, the removal rate of COD of this dye wastewater could reach 83.5% when the initial concentration of methyl red was 200mg · L-1,the pH value was 3.0,reaction temperature was 50℃,the dosage of H2O2 and Fe2+ were 20mmol· L-1 and 1mmol· L-1 respectively and reaction time was 60min.
