Abstract

Objective To improve the diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary alveolar proteinosis(PAP)in clinic.Methods A case was reported and related literature was reviewed.Results The patients receiving bronchoalveoar lavage had significant improvement in clinical manifestation artery blood gas analysis and chest CT scan.Conclusion The chief clinical manifestation is progressive dyspnea,breath lessness and cough.The HRCT feature of PAP is relatively characteristic.So far,bronchoalveolar lavage is the only effective treatment method for PAP.
