Abstract

Objective:To study the relationship between the phlegm and blood stasis elements of acute coronary syndromes and the extent of coronary artery lesions.Method:Taking 125 cases who were diagnosed as acute coronary syndromes and confirmed at least one of the coronary stenosis was more than 50% in our heart disease medicine ward for instance,to collect the patients' four diagnostic information after coronary arteriography within 24h and differentiate the types of syndrome of TCM,then to analyze the relationship between the phlegm and blood stasis elements and the extent of coronary artery lesions.Results:①The syndrome of phlegm and blood stasis was not statistically different with the the syndrome of non-phlegm and blood stasis on lesions count(P=0.104).②The syndrome of blood stasis was statistically different with the syndrome of non-blood stasis on lesions narrow obviously(P=0.000).③The syndrome of phlegm was not statistically different with the syndrome of non-phlegm on lesions count(P=0.053).④The syndrome of blood stasis was linear related with gensini score(r=-0.249),and the gensini score of the syndrome of blood stasis was significantly higher than that of the syndrome of non-blood stasis. Conclusion:There is a correlation between the phlegm and blood stasis elements and the extent of coronary artery lesions.
