Abstract

Objective To evaluate the effect of trabeculectomy combined with kryptonlaser photocoagulation on retina or partial iris in treatment of neovascular glaucoma. Methods 32 eyes of neovascular glaucoma were performed kryptonlaser photocoagulation on retina or partial iris, then were performed trabeculectomy. Results Following in 12 months postoperatively, 87.5%(28 eyes) ocular tension were controlled under 21mmHg; 28.13%(9 eyes) visual acuity were improved, and 56.25%(18 eyes ) visual acuity were invariable, and 15.63%(5 eyes ) visual acuity were descended. Conclusions Performing trabeculectomy after kryptonlaser photocoagulation on retina or partial iris in treatment of neovascular glaucoma is effective.
