Abstract

Effect of heat treatment on impact toughness of low chromium wear resistant cast iron hot deformed by 15% at 970 ℃ was investigated by means of optical microscope,SEM and impact test. The results show that impact toughness of the cast iron was improved through normalization at 970 ℃ for 3 h with little change in hardness.
