Report of 300 cases of myopia using orthokeratology

Abstract

Objective:To investigate the effects and safety of orthokeratology for myopia reduction.Methods:300 cases(598 eyes) of myopia were corrected by orthokeratology, the effects and complications were observed.Results:297 cases have the myopia reduced significantly, 3 cases failed. During the follow-up of 6-10 months[average 8.2 months],no severe complications happened.Conclusion:Ortheratology is safer, convenient and effective methods for reducing some amount of myopia .
