Abstract

Objective: To study the effect of different doses of simvastatin for endothelial function and blood lipids in elderly patients with coronary heart disease. Method: Selected 100 cases of elderly patients with coronary heart disease treated in our hospital from June 2011 to June 2014 as the research objects, according to the admission time randomly divided into 10 mg group( 33 cases),20 mg group( 33 cases) and control group( 34 cases),three groups were compared the vascular endothelial function, the change of blood lipids before and after treatment, and the clinical efficacy and safety after the treatment. Results: 1The level of TC and LDL-C after treatment of patients in three groups were significantly lower than that before( P 0.05),while the levels of TG and HDL-C were no obvious changes, and comparison among groups of the index of blood fat had no obvious difference( P 0. 05). 2The ED and EID after treatment of patients in three groups were significantly increased than that before( P 0.05). Including that the EDD and EID of the patients in 10 mg group after treatment were significantly higher than that of patients in control group, and the patients in 20 mg group only with EDD higher than the control group, the differences were statistically significant( P 0.05). 3Although the number of patients in 10 mg group with gastrointestinal reaction, muscle pain and increased transaminase was decreased than that of patients in 20 mg group, but the difference was not statistically significant( P 0. 05). Conclusion: The simvastatin can effectively reduce the blood lipid level and improve the endothelial function of elderly patients with coronary heart disease, and the dose range of 10 mg to 20 mg has better clinical efficacy and safety,It suggests that elderly patients should priority to give10 mg,according to the condition changes add quantity as appropriate to avoid the occurrence of adverse reactions.
