On the Relations between Modern Aestheticism Culture and Pure Verse

Modern Chinese pure verse refers to a new verse emerging on poetic arena from 1920′s to 1930′s—a feat of Chinese pure verse movement.Under impact of Western modern aestheticism culture,pure verse opines that poetry is,in essence,beautiful and ultrautilitarian.In creation of pure verse,due attention is paid to form and skills,thus having constituted its artistic quality of both inner and outer beauty through its harmonious blending with native artistic concepts.In terms of poetic rhythm,pure verse attaches importance to beauty of poetic rhythm,while it pays much heed to expressiveness of sounds and color etc.with respect to expressive skills.As regards image organization,pure verse highlights a special logic—the art of peotic thinking and the logic of poetry.Pure verse is of some significance for development of modern poetry.
