A Re-investigation of Literary History of the Yuan Dynasty

The literary history of the Yuan Dynasty was seriously covered owing to the effect of some obscure perceptions.What the historian of literature offered was an incomplete literary history of the Yuan Dynasty,different parts of which stood separately without connections between them.Actually,the culture of the Yuan Dynasty was both multiple and unified.As a result,literature in the Yuan Dynasty consisted of many parts and sections,for the vast domain of the empire embraced both Chinese and other ethnics,who differed in interest and style and spoke and wrote in different languages.However,they all wrote literature as subjects of the Yuan Dynasty and showed great unification.Therefore,to compile a comprehensive literary history of the Yuan Dynasty under the unified cultural spirit of multiple nationalities,we should rid ourselves of some ideological biases and compose a complete literary history of the Yuan Dynasty.
