How to perfect water resources management in Tarim river basin

For a long time, the unreasonable management mechanism of water resources has resulted in irrational use of water resources in Tarim river basin. The contradiction of water supple and water demand becomes more and more conspicuous. Therefore, this paper focuses discussion on the main countermeasures for improving sustainable management capability of water resources in the Tarim river basin in four aspects, that is, raising the ability of accumulation of captical, making advances in technology, participating management of the public, and protecting ecological environment.
