Eco-Economic Management Models and Countermeasures for the Sustainable Utilization of Water Resources in Tarim River Basin

Vulnerable environment and lagging economy are the main characteristics in Tarim river basin,and the shortage of water resources has become a main limit factor for the sustainable development in the watershed,and without the management of water resources from the view of eco-conomy is one of the main factors leading to the lower reaches of the Tarim river becoming dry and the severity of the ecological environment.According to the situation and problems of water resources management in Tarim river basin,this research presents the management model and countermeasures which emphasize the sustainable utilization of water resources from the view of eco-economy,and the purpose is to get the synthetical benefits of the water resources in economy,society and ecology.
