Through comparative analysis of outstanding Chinese versus foreign long Jump athletes' run-up speed, the paper discovers that Chinese long jump athletes can improve their long jump performance more efficiently by further enhancing the utilization rate of run-up speed as well as accelerating run-up speed, and therefore concludes that it is essential to properly control the adjustment of the last two steps' stride length in combination with high speed run-up and swift jump-off.
